IV Lean Healthcare Forum: Patient Safety on focus

The Group for Innovation and Healthcare Management annually coordinates the Lean Healthcare Forum at University of Campinas – Brazil, sponsored by the Forum Permanente of UNICAMP. This event aims to bring together researchers, professors and professionals to present an overview of the management situation in healthcare institutions as well as to present technological innovations applied to Health.

Brazil is one of the countries under the World Alliance for Patient Safety, established by the World Health Organization in 2004. The main purpose of this alliance is to institute measures to increase patient safety and quality of healthcare services. The quality of healthcare services is a key element to ensure reduction and control the risks that patients are subjected to. Furthermore, innovative technologies can also coexist to ensure safety proving more reliable systems.

This forum aims to discuss about patient safety in the world, with representatives of major patient safety centers, as well as professionals that apply Lean Healthcare methodology to ensure safety and efficiency.

Date: November 12th 2015, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Place: Convention Centre at Elis Regina Street, Cidade Universitária, Campinas- SP.
